August 2004 –Present Function as Director of Program Development to establish clinic operations that meet Community Mental Health standards and evolve the programs to meet Department of Psychiatry goals of education, training, research, and public service. Directs, coordinates and manages treatment team of multidisciplinary staff with regards to care and treatment of adolescents and adults experiencing early onset symptoms of psychosis. Provides family psycho-education and support networks. Interfaces clinical treatment program in alliance with research program. Demonstrated competence in areas of psychodynamics of pre-adolescent, adolescent and young adult populations. The scope of the work involved providing care and group treatment for this population in a short-term crisis intervention and management setting. Group therapy provided to assist patients to develop and express appropriate behaviors and experiences in place of those, which hindered normal development. Role involved designing and developing skills and goals to meet personal objectives of the children.
